Since I'm apart of the spring hair care challenge, I'm adding my research here so I can have one place with all the information I come across. I've been looking for products for my temples and scalp. I know after all is said and done, I'll have to take a trip to the BSS. I'm gettng my retouch later today (I'll have to ask my stylist about my scalp and temples too). I oiled my scalp with Dudley's Hair & Scalp Conditioner plus Vitamins AD& E (I also see they have a special scalp formula) last Saturday/Sunday, but it didn't seem to help (still felt itchy and sort of irritated).. So researching the Net, I came across BB Pine Tar by Bronner Brothers. The product description is "temporary relief from itchy scalp, falling and thinning hair, and removes loose dandruff." On the jar it says for temple and scalp. I also found a few places with reviews about it:
Smartgirl - BB Pine Tar Review - It was good to get someone's opinion on the product, but she's 11. I'm looking for more women that use the product.
LHCF - Pine Tar - Interesting info. here, but I want to see and smell (some say it's "smells good or stinky"
) what it's like in person.

, I'm also looking into other salon-brands like

... there are some great ones out there... I have found a few... But what I
learned most of all was the proper use of all these products... What helped me was to buy a spiral note book and document each product and the effect it had
on my hair... That way I could go back and analyze just might be causing my problem. I was experiencing after usage... This is very time consuming, but it has
helped me very much... I am just now getting to learn and respond to my hair... This past winter was so brutal and bitter cold... My poor hair was suffering
really bad... But towards the end of winter, I finally learned that my hair was crying out for a little more protein... I always shied away from it because, my
ignorance of how to use protein in the past had caused me to lose over 5 inches of hair
