I bought some of this this weekend and have been
using it this week since I washed my hair on Tuesday and
I like it so far! It has no mineral oil or petroleum in
it, water is the first ingredient, and it has lots of
oils, yet it still goes on light. I saw it at Walgreens
for like $2.99 so I thought that was worth it to try and
not a lot of money wasted if I didn't like it. It softens
nicely and makes the hair feel moisturized. And it's not
greasy nor does it weigh the hair down. Yay for
BB!

Yea I like this too and I love the fact that it's
not greasy. It feels velvety like when you rub it in your
hands. They also have the kind that's in the jar and it's
a little heavier, I was thinking about trying it.

If you try it quenquen, let us know how that is. I
know I'm still liking this stuff. I'm almost 7 weeks
post-relaxer and it's keeping my hair, especially the
ends, very moisturized and soft. At this point in time,
when my EQP Recovery fails me, I usually switch to my ORS
Olive Oil Lotion Moisturizer which was good but VERY
oily. This isn't as oily but still does the trick. It's
actually very watery-feeling when it goes on which is
good at this Sahara dry stage of my hair. But, then it
just kind of melts in and leaves the hair so soft. I just
can't say enough about this moisturizer right now.

Just so you ladies know, this product does indeed
contain mineral oil, if you read the ingredients you will
notice Parafinum Liquidum (its right before the aloe vera
gel) which is mineral oil. You have to be careful when
reading labels, they dont always blatantly put it out
there so be sure to read carefully!
Its still a great product that I use, but I am aware that it does contain one of those "bad" ingredients, so I just dont use it near my scalp. |

No, BabygurlNC, I don't think so. Are you maybe
referring to another product? Here's the ingredients that
are on my bottle:
Water, Canola Oil, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Castor Oil, Polyquaternium 32, Polysorbate 80, Aloe Vera Gel, DL Panthenol, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Idopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Fragrance and D&C Red #33. No mineral oil in that list. Are you maybe talking about one of the other BB products? This one is the Maximum Strength Oil Moisturizer Hair Lotion with Castor Oil and Aloe (right from the bottle). |

Well I dont know if I have an old bottle or what, I
bought it about 2 weeks ago. The ingredients you listed
are the same but without the mineral oil, I dont know...I
do have the Maximum Strength with Aloe and Castor, dont
know? Ladies check your bottles...apparently there are 2
formulas (which is common with products)

Hmmm...you've got me wondering what's up now. I wonder
which one is the old formula and which one is the new
one, especially since you just bought your a couple of
weeks ago. I got mine about a month or so ago, myself.

Okay, this is odd! I went to the Bronner Brothers
website to see if I could find any information on their
page for the moisturizer, and they have yet another list
of ingredients! Check it out here:
www.bronnerbrothers.com/Products/bb_oil_moist_hair_lotion.html Comparing their list to mine, it's missing Propylene Glycol and the preservatives at the end are different (Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben). And there's no mineral oil on their list like on yours, BabygurlNC. Is it me or does this look like possibly even a third formula????!!!!??? What's going on here?!!! I'm going to find an email address to ask them what's going on. I'll let ya'll know what I find, ladies.  BabygurlNC, can you list your ingredients exactly as they appear on your bottle so that I can put all the different variations in the email? |

ingredients are as follows: Purifed Water, Canola Oil,

Hmmm, that's interesting, quenquen. And, BGNC,
yours has coconut oil in it, too!!??!! Thanks for your
list. I sent an email to the customer service email at
custserv@bronnerbros.com with the three different lists
and I asked why there's 3 different formulas and if
they'll continue to make them all or just one. I'll let
ya'll know when I hear back.
